Tralokinumab
Tralokinumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody that specifically neutralizes interleukin-13 (IL-13), a key Th2 cytokine that drives skin barrier disruption, sensitization, and chronic inflammation in atopic dermatitis and contributes to airway inflammation in asthma. By blocking IL-13 from binding to its receptor, it reduces eosinophilic inflammation, IgE production, and epithelial barrier dysfunction. It is approved for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adults inadequately controlled by topical therapies.
