Aclidinium
A long-acting muscarinic antagonist that relaxes and widens the airways by blocking acetylcholine receptors in bronchial smooth muscle, making breathing easier. It is used twice daily as an inhaled maintenance treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to reduce breathlessness and prevent exacerbations. It is not a rescue inhaler and should not be used for sudden episodes of breathlessness.
