Calcipotriene
A synthetic analogue of the active form of vitamin D used topically to treat mild to moderate plaque psoriasis. It works by slowing the rapid skin cell growth and normalizing the skin cell lifecycle associated with psoriasis. It is well tolerated on most body areas but should be avoided on the face due to the risk of irritation.
