Eculizumab
A monoclonal antibody that inhibits complement protein C5, blocking the part of the immune system that destroys red blood cells in certain rare diseases. It is used to treat paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome.
