Hydroxyzine Pamoate
This pamoate salt form of hydroxyzine is used in capsule form for anxiety and tension relief, as well as allergic conditions. The pamoate salt allows for a slightly different absorption profile compared to the hydrochloride salt. Like other hydroxyzine formulations, it carries anticholinergic side effects including dry mouth and drowsiness.
