Nirsevimab
A long-acting monoclonal antibody that neutralizes respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) by binding to the fusion protein, used to prevent RSV lower respiratory tract infection in infants and young children. Unlike older prophylactic antibodies, a single dose provides protection for an entire RSV season.
