Sulesomab
Sulesomab is a murine-derived anti-NCA-90 (normal cross-reactive antigen) Fab' fragment radiolabeled with technetium-99m, used as a radioimmunoscintigraphic agent for the diagnosis of appendicitis and peripheral osteomyelitis by targeting granulocyte surface antigens at sites of infection and inflammation. The antibody fragment binds to the NCA-90 antigen expressed on peripheral blood granulocytes and at sites of infection, allowing scintigraphic visualization of inflammatory foci. Fab' format reduces immunogenicity and allows rapid clearance compared to intact antibodies.
Cơ chế tác dụng
As a monoclonal antibody, it binds with high specificity to its target antigen, modulating the immune response through mechanisms including receptor blockade, immune cell engagement, or targeted cytotoxicity.
