Toremifene
This selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) is used to treat metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women whose tumors are estrogen receptor-positive. Like tamoxifen, it works by competing with estrogen to bind to its receptors in breast cancer cells, slowing their growth. It may slightly increase the risk of uterine cancer and blood clots with long-term use.
