Pipecuronium
Pipecuronium is a long-acting non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent of the aminosteroid class that competitively antagonizes acetylcholine at nicotinic receptors at the neuromuscular junction, producing skeletal muscle relaxation. It is used as an adjunct to general anesthesia during surgical procedures requiring prolonged muscle relaxation, particularly in patients with cardiovascular disease due to its minimal cardiovascular effects.
