Brinzolamide
A carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used as eye drops to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by reducing the production of aqueous humor inside the eye. It is often used in combination with other eye pressure-lowering drops.

Wirkmechanismus
Selectively blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, preventing the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II. This results in vasodilation, reduced sodium retention, and decreased blood pressure.
