Isavuconazonium Sulfate
This is the water-soluble prodrug sulfate salt form of isavuconazole, a triazole antifungal, designed for intravenous administration. After injection, it is rapidly hydrolyzed by plasma enzymes to release the active isavuconazole. This prodrug strategy overcomes the poor water solubility of isavuconazole itself.
