Revefenacin is a long-acting muscarinic receptor antagonist (LAMA) designed for once-daily inhaled delivery that preferentially blocks M3 muscarinic receptors on bronchial smooth muscle, causing sustained bronchodilation and improved airflow in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is the first once-daily nebulized bronchodilator approved specifically for maintenance treatment of COPD.
