Toripalimab
Toripalimab is a humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody that blocks the PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint interaction, restoring anti-tumor T-cell responses and reversing immune exhaustion in the tumor microenvironment. It is approved in China and the US for relapsed or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma and is under investigation for multiple other malignancies including melanoma and hepatocellular carcinoma. Its development as a PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor follows the same immune checkpoint blockade strategy as pembrolizumab and nivolumab.
