Albuterol
A fast-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles surrounding the airways in the lungs, allowing them to widen and making it easier to breathe during asthma attacks or other episodes of airway narrowing. It works within minutes of inhalation and is one of the most widely used rescue medications for acute breathing difficulties.

Propranolol, a non-selective beta-blocker, directly antagonises the bronchodilatory and cardiovascular effects of albuterol, potentially causing severe bronchospasm in patients with asthma or COPD.
Albuterol-induced hypokalaemia can potentiate digoxin toxicity by increasing myocardial sensitivity to digoxin at any given plasma concentration.
