Carboprost Tromethamine
The tromethamine salt of carboprost is administered intramuscularly to treat postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine atony that has not responded to conventional management. As a prostaglandin F2α analog, it potently stimulates myometrial contractions. It is contraindicated in patients with active cardiac, pulmonary, renal, or hepatic disease.

Cơ chế tác dụng
Selectively blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, preventing the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II. This results in vasodilation, reduced sodium retention, and decreased blood pressure.
