Neurotoxicity

Drug-induced damage to the central or peripheral nervous system, manifesting as neuropathy, seizures, cognitive impairment, encephalopathy, or ototoxicity. Can be dose-dependent or idiosyncratic, acute or chronic. Particularly concerning for drugs that cross the blood-brain barrier or accumulate in neural tissues.
